Technical Support Representative
at SimpleX Internet Philippines Inc. in Metro Manila - Pasig
Responsibilities:
• Responding to technical support, billing, and customer service issues from our customers
• Providing technical support through phone, live chat, email and forum
• Helping clients launch and maintain their websites on our platform (training provided)
• Develop systems and procedures for improving overall client satisfaction
• Monitoring and assisting clients on our online forum and other online communication tools
• Contribute to our knowledge base by authoring articles and creating video tutorials
• Communicate with management team and development to improve product functionality, resolve issues, and improve customer satisfaction
• Achieve customer satisfaction through fast, accurate replies and fixes to problems
• Learn quickly and use your knowledge to solve problems efficiently
• Escalate unresolved issues as required; maintain ownership of issues through resolution
• Discover potential opportunities from client contact and work with sales team to meet their needs for additional products or services
Requirements:
• At least 2 years working experience in the customer service/technical support
• Strong technical skill-set including MS Office, internet-related technologies (website builder, CMS, shopping carts, web hosting, email and online marketing tools, etc.)
• At least 2 years of HTML, CSS a must, website creation experience highly desired
• Understanding of Java script, a plus
• Experience with Windows, UNIX/Linux system administration a plus
• Great troubleshooting skills
• A good understanding of the components comprising a web application and how they work together
• A passion for taking care of clients
• Excellent verbal and written English communication and customer relation skills.
• Fast and correct typing, ability to create grammatically correct responses without any spelling errors
• An eagerness to learn a new business and work your way up
